IAM-02 “The Exhibit”

Sixteen pads, sixteen steps, four patterns. Load your own samples, record straight from the room, and bounce the result to a WAV file. Everything runs in this tab; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

IAM-03 “Subsequent”

A monophonic analogue-modelled synthesiser: two morphing oscillators over a sub and a noise source, a cascaded four-pole ladder filter with its own envelope, an LFO, and an arpeggiator locked to the sequencer's tempo. It has its own note sequence with slide and accent, and it prints to a sampler pad whenever you want it to.

Keys

The computer keyboard plays whichever unit you touched last, and the badge on the synth says which. On the sampler: 1234 / QWER / ASDF / ZXCV. On the synth, a piano layout from A upward. Space always starts and stops.

Recording

Arm REC while the sequencer runs and every pad you hit is written to the nearest step. Pad 15 is an A minor stab, because the bench insists.

Patching

Capture renders held notes, an A minor triad, the arpeggio, or the whole note sequence to the length you pick, normalises it, and drops it on a pad. Hold a chord and it renders polyphonically even though the synth is mono. Chop cuts any sample into sixteen slices, one per pad. Pump ducks the synth under every kick.
